Faroe Islands at the Your Eurovision Song Contest

The Faroe Islands have participated in Your Eurovision 12 times since their debut in June 2013. The broadcaster of the Faroes, YE.FO, has been the organiser of the Faroese entry ever since the country's debut in the contest and has used a mix of internal and national selections to select the their entries. To date none of their entries have been sung in Faroese and only 3 of their acts in the original series hailed from the Faroe Islands (Flamma, Lena Anderssen and Kristel Lisberg), with the other entrants being of Danish origin. 

In June 2013, Faroe Islands' first entry at Your Eurovision, Anna Noa, finished sixth in the final. This remained the country's best result until December 2013, when Amaranthe came second in the contest. Even though Your Eurovision was cancelled after the 2015 edition, the broadcaster already confirmed their participation in the never-to-be 2016.1 edition.

The Faroe Islands debuted in the rebooted series of Your Eurovision in Amsterdam 2020.2 with a new Head of Delegation. The Tórshavn-based band JASMIN earned the Faroe Islands their highest score ever (224 points) and secured a third-place finish. The Faroese broadcaster vowed to only showcase local Faroese talent and has used a national final to determine their entry ever since their return.
