Your Eurovision Hasselt June 2013
The Your Eurovision Song Contest June 2013 was the second edition of the Your Eurovision Song Contest.
After the victory of Natalia with her song 'Boom', the contest stayed in Belgium. It took place on the 1st, 10th and 15th of June 2013. A record of 45 countries took part with Andorra, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, Germany, Haiti, Ireland, Japan, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Portugal, South Korea, Switzerland and the United States making their debut. Austria, Poland and Romania withdrew from the contest.
On the 15th of June, Denmark won Your Eurovision with the song 'Universe' by Karen Viuff and Nikki Jamal.
Location
The second edition of Your Eurovision took place in the Belgian city of Hasselt, in the Ethias Arena. Francesca Vanthielen and Kobe Ilsen hosted the contest.
Format
A total of 45 countries took part. A number of 22 countries participated in each Semi-Final with 12 of them qualifying for the Grand Final from each Semi-Final. The host country joined them in the Grand Final.
