Your Eurovision Song Contest Liverpool 2015
The Your Eurovision Song Contest 2015 was the 14th edition of the Your Eurovision Song Contest, but the first edition with the new concept. It took place in Liverpool, United Kingdom, following Ellie Goulding's victory in the Spring 2015 edition with the song "Love Me Like You Do". The contest was scheduled to consist of a quarter-final, two semi-finals and a final, with preliminary date for the quarter final being 17 October 2015, for the semi finals being 15 and 22 November 2015, and for the final, 29 November 2015. It was comfirmed on the 31st of July that fifty-six countries would be taking part in the contest.
In the end, Australia won the contest for the second time, with Delta Goodrem's song 'Wings'.

The three capitals of England, Scotland and Wales were in the running to host the 2015 Your Eurovision Song Contest. Liverpool, England, was the 4th city in the running. On the 13th of June, Cardiff withdrew it's bid due to other events taking place in the Motorpoint Arena.
The Echo Arena in Liverpool, which has a capacity of approximately 12.000 attendees, was announced as the host venue on 14 July 2015.
Format
After the meeting of the Head of Delegations, it was announced that a maximum of 46 countries is able to participate in the Semi-finals and Grand Final (Big 6 + 20 in Semi-final 1 and 20 in Semi-final 2).
The bottom 5 of Semi-final 1 and the bottom 5 of Semi-final 2 of the previous edition will have to take part in the quarter-final, together with a maximum of 5 new delegations that were placed on a waiting list before. They will fight for the last 5 tickets in the Semi-finals.
The official tagline for the contest was 'Reborn'.
Presenters
On 26 August 2015, BBC announced that Emma Willis and Marvin Humes will be the hosts of the 14th contest.
Semi-Final Allocation Draw
The semi final allocation draw took place on the 21st of August 2015. The 35 Semi Finalists are divided into 5 pots. The devision of the pots was based on the country of origin of the heads of delegation.
