Your Eurovision Mariehamn Winter 2015


Your Eurovision Winter 2015 was the 12th edition of Your Eurovision. It was announced during the meeting of the Heads of Delegations in October 2014 that the dates for the two semi-finals would be 10 and 24 January 2015, with the final planned for the evening of 7 February 2015.

 

51 countries took part during Your Eurovision Winter 2015, with Israel, Japan, Lithuania, Philippines and Slovakia returning. Kazakhstan took part for the very first time. Andorra, Kosovo, Morocco, Puerto Rico and Slovenia withdrew from the competition.

 

Belgium won the 12th edition of Your Eurovision with Emma Bale and her song 'All I Want'.

Location


After the winner's press conference, YE Aland announced that the Winter edition would take place in the capital of Aland Islands, Mariehamn, in Mariehamnsteatern.

Format


The semi-final allocation draw took place on the 17th of December 2014. The 45 Semi Finalists were devided into 7 pots. The devision of the pots was based on the results of the participating countries during their history at Your Eurovision. The best countries were in pot 1, while the countries with the lowest rankings were in pot 7.

It was announced that 51 countries would be taking part at Your Eurovision Winter 2015. Israel, Japan, Lithuania, Philippines and Slovakia returned to the competition. Kazakhstan took part for the very first time. Andorra, Kosovo, Morocco, Puerto Rico and Slovenia withdrew.
