Your Eurovision Song Contest Rotterdam 2021.2

Your Eurovision Song Contest 2021.2 will be the 4th edition of the rebooted Your Eurovision Song Contest and the 18th edition overall, following the victory of Dotan in Your Eurovision Song Contest 2021.1, that was held in Mariehamn, with the song "There Will Be a Way". This marked the second victory of The Netherlands in the rebooted series of the contest, and the fifth victory overall. It is the second time that The Netherlands host the rebooted series of the contest, with the country having hosted the original run of the contest three times. Organised by the Your Eurovision Broadcasting Union (YEBU), the contest will consist of two semi-finals on July 17 and 31, and the Grand Final on August 14, 2021.

49 countries will take part in this edition, with Cape Verde, China, Dominican Republic, Singapore and Slovenia debuting. Austria and Monaco are returning, whilst Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Chile, Jamaica, Kazakhstan, Serbia and Trinidad and Tobago withdrew from the contest.

Location

The 2021.2 contest will be held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, following the country's victory at the 2021.1 edition with the song "There Will Be a Way", performed by Dotan. It will be the fifth time that the Netherlands host the contest, having previously done so in October 2013, November 2013, Winter 2014 and 2020.2. The selected venue was the 16,400-seat Ahoy Arena in Rotterdam Ahoy, a convention centre and multi-purpose indoor arena located on Ahoyweg, which serves as a venue for many events, including concerts, exhibitions, trade fairs, and conferences. Rotterdam Ahoy had previously hosted the Your Eurovision Song Contest October 2013 edition.
